DISASTER RECOVERY AND DEBRIS REMOVAL STAFFING
Our trained professionals have 19+ years in the staffing and disaster recovery and debris removal industry. Our owners have experience across multiple roles of the debris removal process ranging from debris monitoring through project managers/client liaisons for debris monitoring firms to staffing hundreds of debris monitors and supervisors for debris monitoring firms as a labor company. This unique experience allows us to understand firsthand the expectations and responsibilities required to successfully staff a debris removal operations. We will not manage our projects from out of state. We will have DMP management staff on the ground supporting your field staff. We are fully aware of the 12 hr/day 7 days/week working conditions. As can be expected, high turnover is associated with debris monitoring and our staff will be on-site to manage and replace any no-shows, employee disputes and hiring/firing. There is nothing worse than having debris removal contractors not working due to lack of adequate monitors which lead to client frustrations. On all of our projects, we strive to maintain a backlog of trained "on-deck" workers to alleviate any workflow delays.
Debris Monitor Pro will work with your project team to provide local staffing needs across the debris management classifications. We will be with you from the start (either through early identification of the local workforce for pre-positioned contracts or mobilizing within hours of landfall) through the removal of the last cubic yard of debris.
We have previously staffed hundreds of employees for debris monitoring firms. We have a regional database of local and trained individuals ready to go to work for you. Our staffing history includes trained:
- Debris field management personnel
- Right of way (row) debris monitor supervisors
- Leaner/hanger/stumps debris monitor supervisors
- Roving debris monitor supervisors
- Row debris monitors
- Leaner/hanger/stumps debris monitors
- Dumpsite debris monitors
Identifying a local and/or regional qualified and reliable workforce
We understand natural disasters impact the affected communities' local workforce and the heart of each community is their people. Following a natural disaster, we immediately mobilize to the affected community and identify a local workforce which fits your project's needs. Our commitment is to get the local workforce working again. While each community outreach is unique depending on location and severity of storm event, as needed we will reach out to local job centers, social media platforms, job boards and community organizations to identify the most qualified and reliable workforce. We will pre-scan candidates to meet your policy and job requirements (I.E. working smartphones, reliable transportation, ability to work 12-14 hrs/day and 7 days/week, testing, etc.)
Pre-deployment training of monitoring staff
Having worked directly as the debris monitoring firm, our staff is experienced and qualified to provide pre-deployment training for our debris monitors prior to deployment on your project. Prior to deployment on your project, every employee is given pre-deployment instruction to include job safety, job requirement and a basic debris monitoring scope of work overview. In addition, our management staff is willing to learn and train our field staff on your companies specific ADMS system, debris monitoring policies and procedures or other company specific training requirements. Our goal is to have a trained backlog of staff ready to work for your company at a moments notice.
Pre-disaster/pre-position staff identification and workplans for pre-storm desktop storm simulations.
We, as you, prefer to obtain pre-disaster contracts. We are experienced in developing pre-disaster, community specific staffing plans. These plans not only give your, our client, peace of mind but also the city/county/agency, your client, peace of mind. We have and are more than willing to participate in pre-disaster simulations with your firm and/or the community you work for.
